It’s hard to know that when I was a little youngster I looked up to a piece of hollow plastic. I wanted to dress up like her and do my hair and makeup like her because she was beyond perfect in my eyes.
A Barbie Doll. A damn Barbie doll was my dream to be until I turned 8 and realized that it just wouldn’t happen. It makes me really sad though. Why?
Well listen; if every girl owns atleast one Barbie doll and wants to be exactally like her, how do we teach them to be different and unique? It’s hard because as a parent you wouldn’t want to see your childs dream become nothing. What do we tell them? That they aren’t real and you’ll never look like one unless you plan on looking somewhat of Pamela Anderson?
No. Ha; not a chance. Why would we do that? We wouldn’t want to see them hurt correct? It’s hard to think that since the good 50’s maybe that young girls have been looking up to Barbie.
